The new Mab album “Saw the Sun” is the first release on the Round the Corner label. The music on this album is born out of singer/songwriter Martin Messent’s love for  jazz harmony,and poetic lyricism, combined with his ability to deliver it with an edge that is more from an Alt Folk perspective.  These are real songs played by great musicians that deserve to be listened to. The core band of Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Double Bass, Drums, Piano and Violin is augmented at times by much fuller arrangements of string quartets, vibes, vocal arrangements and horns.
